Michael January

Michael January is an award-winning novelist, and writer for film and television, as well as a travel writer, and photographer. He is a California native but has lived on the U.S. East Coast and in London. His travels have taken him across the earth’s curve, well, mostly across Europe. His “Favorite Castles” book series is up to six volumes and three historical novels. “The Secret Memoirs of Mary Shelley: Frankenstein Diaries” was his first. Next followed the WWII adventure and love story of pilots in the Battle of Britain, “Aces”, and “The Boy King’s Tale” a medieval adventure true story, winner of the Historical Fiction Award of Excellence from Historical Fiction Company and Honorable Mention Award in 2023 Reader’s Favorite International Book Awards for Young Adult Adventure. His films have shown on HBO and Showtime in the US, SkyTV and SAT/Pro7 in Europe. He makes an appearance in the screenwriting documentary, “Tales From The Script: 50 Hollywood Screenwriters Tell Their Stories.”
