So, as an inaugural post, I have an announcement! My next book still in progress “The Boy King’s Tale: as Told by Geoffrey Chaucer”, the true thrilling and as yet untold adventure of the young years of England’s King Edward III has been announced as a Finalist in the Page Turner Awards for Writing (Unpublished).

An Update: “The Boy King’s Tale: as Told by Geoffrey Chaucer” has advanced to the Longlist round of the Page Turners Awards!

One judge’s comment “This story is very well-written! It’s difficult to pull off believable vocabulary for stories set in this time frame, especially in the dialogue, but you accomplished that beautifully.” – Kayla Henley editor at Henley Ink

Just to throw in some other comments: “This is a story redolent with intrigues, battles, and psychological warfare, beautifully written and flows easily from one drama to the next. The main characters were drawn superbly. For anyone that loves tales of knights, derring-do, and chivalry, this is a fantastic read but also for anyone who just enjoys a rollicking good story.” from a Reader’s Favorite 5-Star Review.
